Ruby West
Store & Business Owner
Founding member, Ruby West, is a Singer-SongWriter-Guitarist, who lives in the Western Cape. Originally trained over 5 years an Opera Singer by Charlize Van Velsen and Sheila Fox Evans. Grade 2 piano and music theory. Studio singer for KFM jingles over one year period in Cape Town, The Music Room. Theatre work with JJ King Promotions, Oscar Theatre for three months doing Sweet Soul Music. Started composing original songs in 2001.Brought out first Christian Contemporary Music album at Lightway Music, Tony Drake in 2004. Sung in various bands and worked with musicians Malcolm Posselsweit (drummer), Seth Adams, Mel Roux. Currently Solo Artist, doing original as well as cover songs, playing accoustic guitar and using backing tracks.
